I bleed every other month.
My body goes through a million sensations at once.
I don't know how am I feeling?
I don't know if my head aches or my stomach cramps
I want to lay on my bed all day long
I want to cry over cartoons
I want to eat all the ice cream in the world
I want to be just in my panties, undisturbed.
But, this lives only in my writings,
For I have to suck it all up like I don't bleed.
God forbid if you see a stain on my white skirt.
I promise it is not my fault.
I will bear your child one day,
So please let me bleed with pride
Buy me pads if I want
Kiss me and lay beside me
Make me bleed a little happy this time.
